Care: Use a heatproof holder, burn away from drafts, trim wick to 5mm, max 2 hours at a time. Indoor use only.

Each candle is individually made, and due to the natural composition of the wax, a soft “bloom” or subtle surface markings may appear — part of the charm of its handmade character. These can be gently wiped away with a soft cloth.

Nonna's Grocer

Nonna's Grocer is a concept candle studio founded in 2020 by Wollongong designer Madeleine Hoy, joined soon after by her sister Isabel. The studio takes its name and inspiration from their great-grandfather Giuseppe, who migrated from Salina, Italy, to Daylesford, Victoria, where he ran a local fruit shop. The sisters cast real fruit and vegetables to make candles that replicate their subjects in detail.
