Ingredients: Black tea, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, star anise, cloves, mace and nutmeg.

Origin: China, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka

Inspired by the traditional masala chai served on the streets of Mumbai, this robust blend combines Assam black tea with a warming mix of black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, star anise, cloves, mace and nutmeg.

At its heart is Assam CTC (cut, tear and curl) tea, a processing method that produces small granules for a strong, full-bodied brew. Designed to be enjoyed with milk, the bold tea base balances the intensity of the spices, creating a rich, aromatic chai with a satisfying warmth

Preparation:
1. Steep 1.5tbs/10g of tea in 150ml of water at 90-100°C for 2 minutes.
2. Add 150ml of warmed milk or a milk alternative and steep for a further minute.
3. Strain, add 1.5tsp of honey to taste and enjoy.

For an extra kick of spice, add Tea Craft's Kicker blend.
